As per the latest statistics in 2012  we have nearly 160 million blogs out there and more are getting created on a daily basis. But only 5-10% of these blogs is ever gonna really make any web presence and may going to add significant value to the various niches they focusing on. Reason? rest 90-95% lacks a secret recipe which ideally keep these 5-10% apart from rest of the population. Anyway no secret can be kept as one for ever and it has to come to light one day or the other.

Ingredients of Successful Blogging

Find here that secret recipe of successful blogging , following which can make sure that your online asset will add value to your users and also help you build your bank balance all while you are doing something you like.

Purpose of Your Blog

Do you have a clear purpose defined for your blog even before you thought about launching it?  If not please understand that its one of the most important ingredients of any successful blog. Make sure to ask your selves early what is it that you want out of your blog and what value is it gonna bring to the readers.Yeah most of us are here on this scene to make money, but you should understand that making money online should only be one of your priorities as it can never full fill your appetite for writing about something which you really are passionate about. So make sure you have real purpose or platform on which you can build your entire blog.

Content Creation Plan

Yep a blog is all about producing , categorizing and presenting useful content and the most major asset of any blogger is his ability to understand the nerve of his readers and delivers what they want at a time when they really want it. I know its easy to said than done ,  the number one reason for that most of us may point out that we do not have such a large number of readers. Absolutely true..no one launches a blog with a million subscribers on his readership list. It takes time and effort for you to reach those levels, but what you obviously should have from the day one is a Content Creation Plan. You need to have a smart plan in place for what type of content you create, when and how often you will create and  how you will revise and fine tune your existing content creation plan as your blog get older and matured , with the help of analytic tools and also from the feedback’s and comments you receive from your fellow readers.

Bring ‘You’ in to the equation

Now that’s a very important step and this shall be the main ingredient that will make sure that your blog is unique. For eg: now you are reading about blogging in FFB . do you think this is the only place on earth where you will find articles related to blogging ? no right.. But there was something about this article that fascinated you ( that’s the reason why you are still reading this .. ;) .. ). Similarly whatever niche you focus your blog on make sure that it will stand out by bringing in   your own styles and perspective to the articles you publish.

Improve Your Listening Skills

Now this is something which is really interesting and easy and If you can excel at this , then you gonna have an amazing run. Are you listening to the people in your niche ? are you in constant touch with your readers  ? have you ever identified what is the best  thing that you can write about now by checking out forums (obviously something to do with your niche) and blogger communities?  Have you tried asking your readers what they would like you to write about?  If the answers for these questions are “No” its about time you start doing this.

Create a Brand not a Blog

Do you believe me if I tell you that every blog has the capability to be a standalone brand irrespective of who owns or  runs it? for eg: checkout Daniel’s Daily Blog Tips , though Daniel is well known to be an Internet Marketer , this blog has an identity of its own when it comes to topics related to blogging. Check out Make Use Of  the team has done everything to make sure that this website will be the go to place when it comes to cool websites and interesting how to’s. So make sure you create a  Brand from day one and not just  a blog.

So that’s it from my end right now and I hope you enjoyed the secret recipe of successful blogging. Over to you and  I can’t wait to hear your part of the story now. Do you think we have some more valid ingredients that I might have missed out here (may be purposefully .. ;) ..) Drop a comment and let me know.
